As the Sunstone Pipe nears completion, I felt drawn to a pendant fashioned from the shard of an Iceland Spar … aka. a “Viking Sunstone.”
During the Viking age, it is believed these stones helped Norse explorers to find their way by helping them track the sun, even on a cloudy day.
As for the spiritual side of this stone, it is believed to bring clarity, amplify energy while also enhancing intuition.
The double refraction properties of the Iceland Spar is seen as a symbol for shifting perspectives and revealing hidden truths.
Its high vibrational energy is thought to assist with spiritual growth and with connecting with the higher consciousness.
The stone is used to clear energy blockages, to bring balance to chakras and aid with meditation.
For me personally, I’m wearing this stone as a visual sign of my commitment with serving as caretaker of the Sunstone Pipe and walking the path associated with it and my own personal journey.
